announcements

  • The softball game that was rained out yesterday will be played this afternoon. MZMS will be hosting the Bremen Blue Devils with the first pitch being at 5:00. Good luck girls!

  • Eagles, the September reading challenge starts today. Your ELA teachers will be sharing/going over it with you. I also uploaded it into the Media Center Google classroom and if you haven’t joined the Media Center Google classroom, get that done. The code is in the Media Center orientation slides presentation that your ELA teacher went over with you.

  • So if you’re in class with Sha’liyah Williams please help me wish her a Happy Birthday! I hope you feel extra special today, Sha’liyah.

  • September 8th...why is that an important day for you, you ask??? Well, let me remind you: it’s the day that your midterm grades will go home with you! You need to be logging into infinite campus. I can help you...Mrs. Bennett can help you, but you’ve got to ask for help.

  • Don’t forget that Academic Team tryouts will be this afternoon from 3:30-5:00, in Mrs. Morgan’s room, room 406. Don’t stay if you don’t have the permission form and good luck to all trying out!

  • Tomorrow is a busy afternoon for our MZMS athletes: the Lady Eagles Softball team will be playing in the annual Breast Cancer Awareness game at the Tanners Beach fields, Cross Country travels south to Long Cane Middle school for their meet, and our MZMS Football team will be tangling with the Temple Tigers at home.

We’re halfway through the week, Eagles. A long weekend is on the horizon. Make sure you check your grades today because you don’t want any surprises come next Tuesday, and teachers be sure you get your grades posted soon. Have a great day!
