Don’t forget about the Tik Tok Learning Never Stops camps that are being offered at MZMS this summer. The academic camp is June 14-17 and the STEAM camp is June 21-24. Transportation as well as breakfast and lunch will be provided. If you need more information ask a teacher or get your parents to contact the school!
Somehow I left off two birthdays from last Friday: Gabriela Garcia and Josh Croft turned a year older! Josh and Gabriela, please accept my apology and I hope your day was fantastic and that you were celebrated BIG! And yesterday, Dominic Munoz started his next 365 day trip around the sun. I hope your day was great Dominic!
Students who received a Jr. Beta Invitation and plan to join need to bring the $15 membership fee by Friday, April 23rd.
The fundraiser to raise money for Mrs. Cook will continue through this Friday, April 23rd. Remember the grade level that raises the most money gets a free period...the ENTIRE grade….together! That’s a rarity. Dip into those pockets, Eagles.
The Miss Mount Zion pageant is May 1st and the pageant needs you! Money and forms are due to Mrs. Buchanan this Friday, April 23rd! There are information packets in the front office if you need to pick one up!
Our Eagles competed in the middle school track championship last Friday at Central High. Overall, both our boys and girls teams placed 5th! Isaiah Hindsman placed 1st in the 110 hurdles for the small schools and 2nd overall for the whole meet. Hayden Cornwell tied for 3rd place in the boys high jump and Lyla Marrow was 4th in the girls high jump. Track members...be sure to return your track uniforms to Coach Fussell ASAP!
Remember, midterms will go home with you on Wednesday, the 21st. That’s the day AFTER tomorrow!!!
I heard Ms. Tina Martin saying that we’ve only got 30 more days of school! That seems unreal. We will also begin the 2021 GMAS in 12 school days! Remember that USA TestPrep is a great tool for you to use to get some extra exposure to GMAS type questions.
Happy Monday, y’all. We’re up, we’re at school, so we might as well make the most of it. Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow morning!
