Mt. Zion Middle School FBLA Attend Fall Leadership Conference

(November 16, 2017 - Carrollton, Ga.)  The Mt. Zion Middle School (MZMS) chapter of FBLA attended the middle level Fall Leadership Conference at the beautiful Athens Classic Center on November 15, 2017. Several schools across the state of Georgia were in attendance, as well as Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) representatives. The conference consisted of a dynamic opening session in which the speaker emphasized using service and education as a vehicle to drive students to achieve heights they never envisioned. After the general session, students attended two leadership training workshops and received certificates of participation. The ambitious students pictured below have exemplified key leadership qualities and several of the students will go on to compete and represent their school at the region conference in January, 2018. The adviser is Mrs. Tewanna Brown. Ms. Connie Robison is the principal of MZMS.
